Test results are usually reviewed by the practice before any action is taken. Please do not assume that no news means your result has been checked in the way you expected.
How to ask about test results
- You can ask about results by submitting an administrative eConsult.
- If you have been specifically asked to contact the practice, please do so in the way you were advised.
- Please allow enough time for the test to be processed before contacting us.
Important
We receive a large number of results and we may not routinely contact patients about normal results. If you are waiting for a result, please check back with us.
When to get in touch sooner
- Your symptoms are getting worse.
- You have been asked to arrange a follow-up appointment.
- You are worried and need further advice.
